Lying Posture
Lateral Recumbent Posture
Lie on one side (usually the left side ) on bed.  Keep the trunk slightly bent.  Rest the head on a pillow and lean it towards the chest a little bit.  Close eyes.  Keep the tip of the tongue against the palate.  Put one hand on the pillow with the palm facing upward.  Put the other hand on the hip on the same side.  Extend the lower leg straight and bend the upper leg and put it on the lower leg.

Lying on the Back
Lie on the back on bed.  Hold the head upright.  Extend the limbs naturally, with hands on the sides of the body, or overlap the hands and put them on the belly.  Close the eyes and mouth. Keep the tip of the tongue against the palate.
