Following the Proper Order and Advancing Gradually

It is not easy to do qigong exercises well in a short time.  People usually make the following mistakes.  Some are eager for quick results and want to cure diseases in a short while.  Too frequent and too many practices lead to fatigue, pain or aching in some parts of the body, or aggravate illness.  Then they become afraid and think the exercise is useless, so they are slack in practice and get no results.  Do qigong exercises step by step, otherwise, as an old saying goes, "Haste makes waste".  Before practice, learn some basic knowledge, and have a correct understanding of qigong.  Master basic skills and select the proper qigong styles.  Gradually you are able to have the three regulations combined.
