Chinese Association of Integrative Medicine
Founded in November 1981, the organization was originally named the Chinese Research Association of Integrative Medicine and, in 1990, it was renamed the Chinese Association of Integrative Medicine. It has branch associations in 30 provinces (excluding Taiwan), autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the State Council and some prefectures, cities, and counties. Chinese Journal of Integrative Medicine (monthly), issued by the Association has now a distribution across China and in over 50 countries and regions. The Association has 59,427 domestic members and some foreign correspondent members in such countries as U.S.A., Japan and Singapore. It organizes over 20 large-scale international and national academic exchange activities annually.
